Yesterday, we honored our intergenerational award recipients and released a new report! But, before I continue with that part of the story, let’s jump back to the beginning of the day, which kicked off with the Opening Plenary.

The opening plenary started with the native welcome and blessing from the Portland All Nations Canoe Family.

It included an important panel discussion.

The first workshop sessions followed the panel.

Then it was time for the awards luncheon.

We released our new report with The Eisner Foundation, The Best of Both Worlds: A close Look at Creating Spaces that Connect Young and Old!

Thank you to our report author, Amy Goyer!

Thank you to Dr. Shannon Jarrott, who provided the survey included in the report.

We also presented our conference co-host, Bridge Meadows, with a token of our appreciation!

Congrats to our award recipients!

The attendees, energized from a wonderful meal and networking, went on to workshop and poster sessions.

We had to make time for a group shot of Eisner Prize winners.

Thanks to our photographer, Paul Rich!

The day concluded with peer groups.

We appreciate the props on the conference!

What’s a conference without karaoke?

Check out Wednesday’s recap. We’re looking forward to tomorrow, which kicks off with the networking breakfast.

Additional highlights.
