A standout event from day 2 of our conference was the David S. Liederman Plenary Session — Sankofa: The Art of Intergenerational Storytelling.

Thanks to our board member — Sarah L. Kastelic (Alutiq), Enrolled Citizen of the Native Village of Ouzinkie, National Indian Child Welfare Association, Generations United Board of Directors — for moderating this session.

The attendees appreciated Janice explaining the Sankofa symbol.

Leading up to the today’s plenary were peer groups that included three concurring sessions.

After the plenary session, it was time for the Research and Program Showcase, which included 10 concurring sessions.

Then we went into the first set of workshops with four concurrent sessions.

We headed into speed sessions.

The enthusiasm carried over into the second set of workshops that included six concurrent sessions.

We concluded the day with the virtual dance party.

Here are some additional highlights.

Stay tuned tomorrow for a recap of today’s event. If you missed it, check out our Recap of Day 1 at Generations United’s Virtual Conference.
